TRANSFER PRICING MANAGER – COMMUTABLE FROM LONDON/READING

One of our favourite clients is a global multinational that consistently attracts TP professionals with a highly tuned commercial focus, fantastic people skills dealing with senior stakeholders and who work well in strong team environments. If you’re an experienced TP Manager or Junior SM in a Big 4 firm, international advisory environment or in-house UK team then this could be a great next step for you. Whilst we totally respect that our TP community can hit promotions outside of the standard timings, we’d generally expect someone to have between 6-8 years of breadth/depth across the core transfer pricing components, including documentation, audit defence and advisory projects. This position is commutable from both London and Reading in under 30 minutes.

ABOUT THEM

Where do we start? The two most senior TP leaders in the team are technically on top of their game and personally care about the people aspects of bringing a strong team dynamic together. Many professionals we work with cite lack of recognition, lack of opportunity or lack of support as the key reasons for wanting a change. In this team, you will see a complexity of projects and unique aspects to this industry sector that you wouldn’t see in a standard FMCG for example.

CAREER PROGRESSION

The sky is genuinely the limit. Unlike most in-house roles that tend to have a 3 year shelf life and require an external move to progress, there is an exciting pathway ahead of you. Your entry into the team with this role will teach you everything you need to know about the global business across 5 continents. With 4 global divisions to get to grips with, tax authorities in tricky jurisdictions to understand, senior stakeholders to build relationships with and truly getting to know the global strategy that includes M&A, supply chain and sustainability – your role will evolve as your knowledge grows.
